Most people dream of taking their canine companion (almost) everywhere with them – to the park, sports events, family gatherings, camping, hiking…the list goes on. Even with the best of intentions, plus a puppy or obedience class or two, your dog may still struggle in the real world. Sometimes your dog’s behavior confuses, embarrasses, or frightens you.  

Real World Adventure Dogs was born out of our desire to improve the lives of people and pets who want to adventure together. You may have been through puppy class or obedience classes with your dog and still have a grumbly, growly, barky, lunging dog that you don’t feel comfortable taking out in public. The Real World Adventure Dog training program is all about teaching your grumbly, growly, barky, lunging dog the skills needed to meet life’s challenges. We developed this new training concept based on our professional (and personal) experience, knowledge of animal behavior, and humane training practices.

• • Ten 1-hour training sessions: you, your dog, and a certified trainer
  • Nine 1.5-hour day training sessions: your dog with a certified trainer out in the real world - our trainer picks your dog up from home and delivers him or her back relaxed and ready for a good nap
  • Adventure bag with all the things your dog needs for a real world adventure: tote, yoga mat, treats, and a treat for you, too
  • For dogs 7 months and older
  • Dogs must have proof of vaccination, clear fecal screening, and currently on parasite prevention
